janeiro 06, 2020A gente sempre acha que vai ter mais chances. No meu caso achei que falaria do meu amor por você mais um milhão de vezes. Que deitaria do seu lado para ver tevê. Que brigaria mais tempo ainda por você ter um coração tão bom. Que lhe daria meus filhos para apadrinhar. Que visitaria sua casa para tomar chá de hibisco. Que provaria muitas novas receitas suas e desejaria te inscrever no Masterchef. Que lhe contaria meus novos segredos. Que lhe abraçaria e beijaria sem medo. Que lhe dividiria os livros, filmes e canções. Que lhe choraria no ombro. Que caminharia contigo de mãos dadas. Que sorriria e gargalharia com todas as situações que só a gente entendia. Que contaria com sua parceria para cuidar dos nossos pais, não era isso que você dizia? Que cuidaria de você também e depois de velhos leríamos um para o outro, como a gente acordou. Eu achava que seria abençoada com mais tempo. E a verdade é que a gente costuma fazer isso com todas as nossas relações, inclusive com o próprio eu.
Agora sei que sou jovem demais para questionar e velha o suficiente para conseguir passar por isso. Antes eu não sobreviveria. Obrigada por ter esperado meu tempo de estar pronta para amadurecer. Você sempre foi meu melhor professor sobre a vida e continua sendo. Quando te escrevi em 2002, te disse que você é insubstituível e seu lugar dentro de mim é incondicional. E embora tudo tenha mudado desde que perdi o tempo, essa verdade nunca será diferente. Espero conseguir fazer o melhor com o maior aprendizado que você me deu.

Today, Portugal is the Biggest Racist country that i have ever lived in. I feared for my life there and i consider myself lucky that my family got out alive! I have never lived in such poverty (Sopas dos Pobres everyday) 40% unemployment rate and 60% of the population earn less than $932 USD per month, and that’s considered Middle Class here! Within the European Union it is the worst of the worst place to live in.
The bottom line is the bulk of the People in the poor country of Portugal exist in a brainless comma that is fed by Ignorance, anti-Spanish hate, and severe Racism of pretty much everybody that isn’t Portuguese! And, Portugal started the Global Slave Trade in 1441 so it is definitely NOT a safe place for Blacks!!
